Page.ly Acquires Competitor BlogDroid

Page.ly, a managed WordPress hosting company, announced the acquisition of competing service BlogDroid in an all cash deal* with the goal to diversify their customer profile.
During the transition, Page.ly will manage the BlogDroid domain name and move customers from the existing BlogDroid infrastructure to their hosting platform. BlogDroid customers will immediately benefit from Page.ly’s enterprise grade security PressARMOR™ and responsive customer service.
Co-Founder and CEO of Page.ly Joshua Strebel states, “BlogDroid is a great acquisition to swell our ranks of happy customers. They will find a good home on our expanding service. Managed WordPress is what we do, we have future plans for the BlogDroid domain in that regard.”
BlogDroid, based in Connecticut, was an attractive acquisition for Page.ly due to their rapid growth, upscale brand and “customer-first” approach.
