Tech is increasingly becoming a bigger part of the fashion industry — from apps, to 3D printing.
At Phoenix Fashion Week this year, designer Azmara Asefa showcased her clothing designs. Models strutted down the runway with her laser cut jackets and 3D printed jewelry and monocles.
For the runway, Azmara created laser cut eye patches with unique patterns for her models to wear.
Asefa created three versions: an open monocle, a closed monocole, and a stalactite monocle which included a lot of fine detail.
“Since I love geometry, the pattern was generated from a fractal,” Asefa said.
