Imagine a STEAM festival that attracted close to five times the number of attendees that could fit in the University of Phoenix Cardinal stadium. The Arizona SciTech Festival, a statewide celebration of STEAM that ran February to March of this year, released their report on the positive impact the Festival had on the community.
In collaboration with over 700 organizations, schools and partners, 51 cities and towns and over 1,000 STEAM events, the Festival attracted 380,000 attendees from 3- to 103- years-old.
The Festival kicked off with a Virtual Press Conference, connecting over 15 communities at 10 locations from Verde Valley to Mesa.
“Not all of Arizona’s communities are created equal and it is important to us that we bridge this technological gap,” Jeremy Babendure, Executive Director AZ SciTech Festival said in a previous report.
