CO+HOOTS, Phoenix’s largest co-working community, participated in the FirstBank $20,000 Elevator Pitch Business contest where the prize money would be used to accelerate ones’ business.
If anyone has been paying attention, this co-working space is accelerating at full speed. Earlier in November, they announced plans to expand to a 14,000 sq. ft. space offering more than 20 private offices, an open co-working area, two community classrooms, an open event space, shaded parking and a lounge. CO+HOOTS was also ranked as number two in the nation and ninth in the world for co-working spaces.
For this competition, CO+HOOTS received the Runner Up prize of $2,500.
“It was great to see the other local companies supporting their community and we are beyond honored to be among them,” said Kay Transtrum, Project co+ordinator of CO+HOOTS. “Our thanks to FirstBank for seeing the value in small business and their immense impact!”
In late November, FirstBank announced that Brelby Theatre Company, a Glendale-based company that produces professional live theatrical shows and operates classes and workshops, won the $20,000 first prize.
