This service is offered exclusively as a benefit to Prime members and the company can now bring customers over tens of of thousands of items from paper towels and milk to laptops and Halloween items in an hour. Through the Prime Now app, users can also sign-in using TouchID and track their delivery.
As of this post, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our order with candy corn, sparkling water and other randomness. For our first order, there was a minimum order of $20 for free delivery and a suggested tip of $5; customers can change the tip up to 48 hours after delivery. For one-hour delivery there is a $7.99 charge. The service is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

We asked Amazon about the hours of delivery based on where customers are located in the Valley. AmazonHelp replied with “Available delivery times depend on your location. You’ll be able to select a delivery window that suits you during checkout.”
In the coming weeks, Amazon will be ramping up for the holiday season and this service is expected to be a popular among Prime-rs. “We are hiring for thousands of seasonal roles for the Phoenix-area fulfillment centers and one sortation center,” a representative from Amazon stated.

  1. Great Service! I live in Mesa and they usually get here 14-45 min after the time frame. Ex. 2:00-4:00 delivery time frame, package delivered at 2:15 to 2:45 most of the time.
