Golfler, an all-in-one mobile app for golfers, is expanding to Arizona, specifically in Scottsdale and Phoenix.
The free app offers a luxury experience for golfers by combining technology and on-course services. Golfler gives golfers one place for ordering on-course food and beverages, increasing pace of play, and purchasing equipment.
“We are a tech company out of Detroit and we recognize that Detroit doesn’t have golf a couple months out of the year,” President and CLO Jason Pearsall said. “We also recognize Arizona is one of the top golf states in the country.”
The app also helps course and club management with a platform for purchase, payment, and direct messaging. Courses also have access to analytics.

Golfler has hired two Scottsdale residents to join the team, and is looking to add more employees for sales and golf instructors in the future. Their goal is to open a west coast office.
“We’re looking for people who like golf and have a passion for technology,” Pearsall said. “There are lot more golf pros than jobs out there right now,” Pearsall said.
The company is expanding throughout other states such as California, Florida, Hawaii, Texas, Wisconsin, and Colorado. “The intention is to capture the top 10 or 15 golf states in the next year, and Arizona is definitely one of them,” Pearsall said.

The company was selected to participate in Appcircus and Google’s Summer of Apps 2015 competition in San Francisco. “We were selected by Google as one of the top new sports apps of 2015,” Pearsall said.
