Sixty four startups down to one winner at the 2015 Venture Madness. This year ed tech and med tech went head-to-head in the final round. In the end, CampusLogic, a software service that simplifies the process for college students to apply for financial aid, took home $30,000 and bragging rights as the Venture Madness champion. EndoVantage placed second walking away with $10,000, and runners up included Beacon Biomedical and RightBio Metrics receiving $5,000 each.
The People’s Choice Award, where the public filled out a bracket online and the startup named winner the most, regardless of progression in the competition wins $5,000, went to Picmonic.

Mario Martinez wil be taking over as chairman of Invest Southwest and Venture Madness 2016 and is looking to double down and scale the event. “There’s incredible momentum in Phoenix and Arizona as a whole,” he said.
