Today Apple unveiled three new products packed full of innovation and new technology. The event, held in Cupertino, CA, saw crowds of tech enthusiasts eager to catch a glimpse of the elusive devices. Up until today, rumor after rumor whirled around the Internet with many speculating not one, but two new iPhones boasting bigger screens and better functionality. Even a new wearable device was predicted. Well, ladies and gentlemen, Apple did not disappoint.
iPhone 6
The iPhone 6 features a 4.7 inch 1334 x 750 Retina HD display. Apple’s flagship smartphone is thinner than ever at 6.9mm (compared to iPhone 5S at 7.5mm). Equipped with Apple’s newest mobile operating software iOS 8, the iPhone 6 has numerous new features like reachability, easier app scaling in Xcode for developers, and the new A8 chip with 50 percent faster graphics, 64bit, and 25 percent faster CPU-all with better battery life. There’s even a new M8 motion coprocessor for fitness apps. It calculates elevation, distance and more. The new iPhone 6 supports more and better LTE services. A better camera with digital image stabilization in the rear makes for better photos and panoramas, and now the front-facing can take better selfies with burst shots. Available in Gold, Grey, and Space Grey. Prices start $199.
iPhone 6 Plus
The iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 Retina HD display. Apple’s biggest iPhone to date is even thinner than its predecessor (the iPhone 5S at 7.5mm) at just 7.1mm. Equipped with Apple’s newest mobile operating software iOS 8, the iPhone 6 Plus has new features like a side power button for easier handling of the bigger phone, the new A8 chip mentioned above, WiFi calling, and it supports VoLTE (voic over LTE). Different from its partner in crime, the iPhone 6 Plus boasts optical image stabilization for crisper images. Available in Gold, Grey, and Space Grey. Prices start at $299
The new phones ship September 19 in USA and 8 other countries. Pre-orders start this Friday, September 12. iOS 8 becomes available on September 17 for free.
Apple also introduced a new way for people to leave their wallets at home. Apple Pay comes equipped with iOS 8 and many retail stores and banks have jumped onboard for the new one-touch, simple payment process. And don’t worry, your credit card and bank information is safe with Apple Pay’s one-time-only code feature.

Apple Watch
Tim Cook announced Apple’s newest addition to their product lineup, the Apple Watch. Coming in three different styles, the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, and Apple Watch Edition (made with 18 karat gold). A comprehensive health and fitness device works seamlessly with the iPhone 5 and higher. With an elegant design, it’s three distinct styles, come with numerous options of leather, stainless steel, or rubber bands. The digital crown on the right side allows for easy navigation through apps and zooming capabilities.
The Apple Watch is made of sapphire, the second strongest material in the world behind diamond, and was designed to be water resistant. You can customize the clock from analog, to Mickey Mouse, to the solar system. Paired with an iPhone, the Apple Watch has Siri built right in and can send messages and make calls with simple swipes and taps. Third party developers can even begin to develop apps for the Apple Watch. Coming in early 2015, the Apple Watch starts at $349.
