Silicon Valley's Reputation.com expands to Tempe and brings 150 jobs

Arizona is welcoming another Silicon Valley company into its lively tech community. Reputation.com, a company specializing in online reputation management and digital privacy technologies, expands its operations to a 20,000-square foot facility in Tempe, and intends to hire 150 people by 2015.
Founded in 2006 by Michael Fertik, Reputation.com develops patented digital privacy and online reputation management solutions for consumers and businesses around the world to help them control their rep on the web. Through the site, customers can monitor and remove personal data from the Internet, instantly respond to online reviews and build a better reputation online.
“Arizona is home to a vibrant and growing tech community,” said Fertik. “The quality, energy and entrepreneurial nature of the workforce here make this a very exciting place for Reputation.com’s newest expansion.”
Chief People Officer Colleen McCreary shares more on why the company decided to expand to the Valley. “We surveyed a lot of locations – looking for the right combination of great infrastructure, access to a phenomenal talent pool, cost-effectiveness, standard of living for our employees. Tempe had all the right elements,” she said.
When asked what excites Reputation.com most about joining the AZ tech community, McCreary said, “We’re excited by the innovative spirit here. It’s clear that there is a smart, educated and passionate workforce here – we feel confident we’ll be able to find talented employees who share our passion for empowering people online.”
The company intends to fill positions in sales, publishing, IT and engineering.
