AppointmentPlus, a worldwide leader in online and mobile scheduling solutions, is exploding with growth as they have experienced a consistent revenue growth at 35 percent year over year throughout the past five years, hit a milestone of more than 7K customers, 50 of which are Fortune 500 companies, have over 40 million appointments scheduled each year, added employees and moved into a 12,000 square foot pad in the Scottsdale Airpark technology hub. Even in the mist of all of this awesome and intense growth, one thing is for sure, the leadership maintain a light and fun attitude and it projects into the work environment.
CEO Bob La Loggia said that the company is expected to have more than 100 employees by the end of the year. The company also recently promoted former CIO Steve Booze to COO and has also hired Debbie James, a Silicon Valley finance executive with deep SaaS experience, as vice president of finance.
Talking one-on-one with CEO Bob LaLoggia
What has been amazing to you about this growth?
Watching our business grow so rapidly has been tremendously inspiring. The fast rise in business tells us that we’ve succeeded — that our software empowers our clients to save time and grow their businesses more efficiently.
Why you are choosing to stay in Scottsdale for expansion?
While we definitely see ourselves as part of the overall business ecosystem in Arizona, we also like being part of the Scottsdale tech community. With SkySong, the Scottsdale Airpark and the 101 Tech Corridor providing a strong foundation, Scottsdale is progressing as a technology and startup-friendly city-I want us to be part of that evolution.
Do you plan to expand your operations to satellite locations to accommodate your growing customer base?
Our new office will accommodate some expansion, but eventually we will outgrow this space. However, because we are a completely web-based company, our growth is not dependent on opening out-of-state satellite offices. Ideally, our expansion would occur right here in Arizona.
What does this mean for the AZ tech ecosystem?
We have a clear responsibility to our customers, our employees and our stakeholders. But, we also have the responsibility, and honor, of helping the Arizona tech ecosystem grow and prosper. We see the value that organizations like the Arizona Technology Council, the ACA, GPEC, ASU, ATIF, and the Desert Angels are bringing to our great state. We want to work alongside these and other outstanding organizations to do our part in making Arizona an even better place for technology businesses to start and operate in the future.

Congrats Bob and team!
Great news on the growth, but I dunno — the new office looks kind of dull.
