ASU co-working space debuts the hive @ central on Jan. 17th

Come join Arizona State University January 17th as the Phoenix Public Library and the City of Phoenix present the hive @ central, the newest location in ASU’s Alexandria Co-working space. The co-working space is a new ASU initiative that brings together inventors, problem-solvers, entrepreneurs and small businesses in collaboration spaces in community libraries across Arizona.
The venue combines elements of co-working spaces with expert library fact-finding services and ASU startup resources in one place where innovators, entrepreneurs and others can gather to share ideas and work together. The collaboration spaces are free and open to the public during normal library operating hours. In addition to meeting space, there will be featured speakers, mentors, tools to help entrepreneurs move their business ideas forward and access to critical information.
The grand opening will feature presentations by Mayor Greg Stanton (City of Phoenix), Senior VP Sethuraman Panchanathan (ASU), Councilman Daniel Valenzuela (City of Phoenix), and Michael Nowakowski (City of Phoenix). Light refreshments will also be provided.

When: Friday, January, 17th, 2:00 – 3:00 PM

Where: Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004
