Miller Lite Tap the Future Startup competition takes place October 15th at Talking Stick Resort

This past summer, AZTB reported about Tap the Future™, Miller Lite’s business competition. Five of the semifinalists, and two from Arizona,  will compete in the exciting live pitch event in Phoenix on October 15th at Talking Stick Resort in front of a panel of experts, including Daymond John from ABC’s “Shark Tank,” Lance Rios, founder of DigiBunch LLC and creator of Bring Latino online magazine; Thom Brodeur, executive vice president of Venture Management at Tallwave and David Rice, founder of Desarrollo a community initiative developed to support Arizona entrepreneurs of any size, for $20K and a chance to win the $250K ultimate prize! Kenny Burns, lifestyle specialist and founder of the popular websitestudio43.com will host the event.
Tap the Future™ is about bringing great friends and business partners together and tapping into the small business and entrepreneurial communities to help them fund their idea and vision.
Two Arizona’s teams of entrepreneurs will compete, including Arden Reed and Showstoppers Soft Serve Frozen Treats, both based out of Phoenix.
Arden Reed, a mobile custom tailor, can help you “get the ‘Bond look’ in seven minutes or less”. Their Trailer Truck will drive to your office and measure you using their 3D body scanner, providing you with a perfect-fitting suit in minutes! The 25 semifinalists will also submit a video pitch and get their friends to vote online as the fan favorite with a chance to win $10,000, so vote for the AZ teams! For the final phase winners from each market will present in front of a panel of judges. The winning team will receive a grand prize of $250,000.
Miller Lite is also giving away $1,000 to a random startup just for attending the event on Tuesday.
