For organizations putting on an event that draws hundreds to thousands of participants, event planners need a way to organize and manage the masses.
Startup Eventinterface is a SaaS end-to-end event management platform that enables planners to build revenue and their communities simultaneously.
Since we last talked with CEO Eventinterface Al Wynant, the company has grown and expanded their operations. We asked what is new for the company.
In a recent client study, Eventinterface found that their software increases planner efficiency by up to 27 percent.

“It’s no longer just about a transaction. It really ties a lot more to how we build communities around a topic, a cause, an organization, a company, or a brand,” Wynant said. “With the system, you can extend the life cycle of the events because you are building these communities.”
The company is also focused on creating meaningful conversations around topics. “The engagement and community building is really what stands out,” he said.
Their study also found their platform increased stakeholder engagement around a brand, cause, or organization by approximately 25 percent.
Eventinterface came out of beta in early 2014 and went commercial in the first quarter of 2014. They have been mostly self-funded, but received angel investment from McMardon Investments.
While their main client base includes corporations and associations, Wynant noticed an increase in national and international customers over the past couple years. Some of their clients include, Arizona Charter Schools Association, Trans-West Network Solutions, and Make A Wish International.
“It’s been getting good traction internationally,” Wynant said.
Eventinterface has expanded their features to accommodate the need for at-home engagement with their Attendee Engagement and Content Distribution modules. Through engaging participants at-home, the company found events could yield between 30 to 50 percent more attendance and revenue.
Wynant said they recently launched their complimentary event and meeting planner, Resource and News Mobile App.
With all the growth, Eventinterface is opening an office at SkySong this summer and hiring additional employees.
“We will be hiring additional implementers and developers,” Wynant said.
The startup was named one of the 25 startup semifinalists in the Spring 2015 ACA Innovation Challenge.
