Starting today, the Downtown Phoenix area will be invaded by elaborate costumes, comic book nerds, anime enthusiasts, and video game fanatics as Phoenix’s 2014 Comicon commences. The AZTB team has the pleasure of teaming up with the University of Advancing Technology (UAT) to discover the techie side of what Comicon has to offer.
Demonstrations of virtual reality games and other video games such as Grave from Tristan Moore and Super Comboman from Justin Woodward are just a few of the awesome exhibits that we will encounter while walking the halls of the Phoenix Convention Center, The Hyatt Regency Downtown, The Sheraton Downtown, and The Renaissance Downtown. In order to accommodate Comicon’s massive following, Downtown Phoenix will transform into a scene straight from the latest Star Wars film.
The AZTB team is excited to explore other exciting exhibits such as drones and quadcopters, 3D printing stations, and short films like UAT’s Star Wars Bohemian Rhapsody.
We will be at the conference live-tweeting, reporting, and exploring.
Stay tuned for AZTB’s coverage of Phoenix’s Comicon
