Next week, join Steve Case and Revolution’s Rise of the Rest’s #TechTalentTour for a virtual tour of cities across the country, with a stop in Phoenix, and learn about over a thousand open jobs at more than 100 venture-backed companies.
On June 22-24, attendees will have access to a virtual career fair, expert tips on how to present your resume and prepare for your interview, conversations with local leaders on what it’s like to live, work and play in dozens of cities, and the opportunity to talk with startups who are actively hiring.
On June 23 starting at 12 pm EST, Phoenix will be spotlighted on the tour’s official Clubhouse Club, “Startups Across America.” The conversation will give attendees the inside scoop on what it’s like to be a part of the growing startup community here.
Local leaders that will be a part of the conversation include Jenny Poon, founder and CEO of CO+HOOTS; Jaime Martinez, CEO of Schola; Jamie Baxter, CEO of Qwick; Diana Vowels, chair of the Board of Directors of Invest Southwest; and Brandon Clarke, co-founder and CEO of StartupAZ Foundation.
The final day of the virtual tour will kick off at 12 pm EST with a conversation between Case and Airbnb co-founder Brian Chesky on talent trends, predictions and startup culture in the “next normal.”
Then, at 12:30 pm EST, the virtual career fair will open. Rise of the Rest Seed Fund portfolio companies that are hiring will join the career fair. Attendees can learn about job opportunities, startup company cultures and tips on how to land your dream job.
