When separated into individual pieces, it’s hard to imagine one game controller could transform and dominate your mobile universe. At CES 2015, The Mad Catz, known for their game controllers, headphones and other gaming products, released their L.Y.N.X. 9 Bluetooth-enabled, hybrid, gaming controller compatible with Android smartphones, PCs and tablets.

The controller splits into three parts with a range of control pads, keyboards, mice and mobile frames for gaming, tweeting with your friends and multimedia. Drilling it down, the chassis has a mouse-like control through OFN sensor, the handles are double the size, the keyboard is a full QWERTY layout and slots into the handles, the battery lasts up to 30 hours on a full charge, and there is a built-in microphone for voice search. The unit can accommodate three sizes: smartphone, tablet with the frame kit or onto a 4K or HDTV with the PlayPack & Charge Pack. The price comes at a hefty price of $299 but they give you everything mentioned plus the cables to hook up to TV. The controllers come in white, black or red and pre-orders are accepted on their site. Watch the demo of the L.Y.N.X transforming at AZTBTV or above.
