Third round of EmergeAZ grant winners announced

StartupAZ and invisonAZ have announced the third round of EmergeAZ Fast Grant winners.

The EmergeAZ Fast Grant program pulls from a $1 million fund, with grant amounts ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. Grants were awarded this third round to ten Arizona tech companies with a wide variety of products ranging from platforms managing Cannabis operations to a mascara subscription service.

β€œThe EmergeAZ Fast Grant awardees represent a diverse cross-section of industries that are exploring and developing new ways to solve challenges in our community,” said invisionAZ chairman Jack Selby.

The EmergeAZ Fast Grant was developed in collaboration with Governor Doug Ducey’s office to provide resources to Arizona startups and entrepreneurs with technologies that help address current health, economic or societal changes.

Many of the award recipients have used the pandemic as an opportunity to find and address real needs in the community, according to Brandon Clarke, cofounder and CEO of StartupAZ.

There have been a total of 25 grants awarded so far, and announcements will be made on a rolling basis until the fund runs out.
