An average of 3 billions toys are sold across the U.S. each year according to the Toy Industry Association, and the top trends in 2015 included smart toys, products that encouraged the maker movement, and allowed kids to “explore virtual worlds or new technologies.” At CES 2016, we continued to see educational and fun interactive toys with human-like responses, STEM kits to make robots, and coming soon, toys that will interact with kids through gesture control.
For the wee ones, the trend was tracking an infant’s health and brain development, home healthcare, and wearables to keep an eye on your baby. Check out what we found from CES 2016.
