GoDaddy wants to design your logo for cheap

January 15, 2021January 13, 2016 by aztechbeat

For a small business owner, hiring a graphic designer to create a company logo may cost hundreds to thousands of dollars-a cost many aren’t ready or willing to spend.
GoDaddy, the largest technology provider dedicated to the little guy, announced their Customizable Logo Design Service where professional designers can help small business owners create an eye-catching customized logo for an affordable price.
GoDaddy decided to launch this service when they realized “a lot of these small businesses didn’t have a logo. We wanted to give them an online tool that would allow the designer to get a better sense of the business owners vision before the designer gets to work,” Linnea Stenberg, Program Manager, Professional Web Services said.
GoDaddy designed this service to be done in four steps. First customers fill out a profile sheet describing their business and the theme and feel they are looking for in a logo. Next, they choose from a preselected menu of graphics for their icon, a font and primary color palate to give them the vibe they need.

Within 3-5 business days the customers receives a fully customized logo for their business.
If you aren’t the most creative person, GoDaddy designers will walk you through and make it awesome. “This is actually the preferred method of getting this process completed,” Stenberg said. “If someone buys the product over the phone, we try to immediately transfer them to a member of the logo team so they can be walked through the process with a designer [and] don’t have to go through the process on their own.”
If you need some alterations to the logo, a designer is available to the customer during the process.
“Our design team will generally provide a foundational design, and allow the business owner to provide feedback,” Stenberg said. “As long as the request is reasonable and able to be completed quickly, the team will oblige. We try to have these feedback sessions occur on the phone if possible so that the tasks can be completed in real-time. More often than not there’s not a full round of revisions required, it’s more adjustments and little tweaks.”
Once the logo is completed, GoDaddy will send the customers the art files. Each design costs $199.
