Back in 2008 when husband and wife team Heidi and Brad Jannenga launched WebPT, they didn’t realize the impact their web-based electronic medical record solution for physical occupational and speech therapists would have on clinics and turn into one of the fastest growing companies in the nation as well as a shining star in the Arizona technology ecosystem.
Dr. Heidi Jannenga PT,DPT, ATC/L started out as a physical therapist and multi-clinic director before she became co-founder & COO of WebPT; Heidi has guided the company to serve over 50,000 members and 8,000 clinics. Today Heidi was appointed to president of WebPT and will lead the company’s product vision, company culture and branding efforts.
Located in the historic Warehouse District of downtown Phoenix, WebPT has provided over 200 jobs to the local community. WebPT has gained recognition on the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest growing private companies in the US and voted as Best Places to Work in AZ by the Phoenix Business Journal.
In 2015, WebPT closed on a large investment by Battery Ventures. In a statement from WebPT Chelsea Stoner, a board member and general partner at Battery Ventures said “she’s confident Dr. Jannenga’s recent appointment will help propel the company’s expansion and growth.”

In an effort to provide an all-encompassing software platform for rehab therapists, WebPT acquired practice management software Therabill in August 2015, a company that serves similar audiences.
Heidi was recognized as the Arizona Physical Therapist Association’s 2015 Physical Therapist of the Year, Phoenix Business Journal Most Admired Leaders (2015) and ATHENA Businesswoman of the Year Award Finalist.
