Startup Tucson announced 12 new Tucson companies joining the Small Business Association (SBA) funded Accelerator Program.
The second group of Thryve Next growth accelerator program startups will begin their 8-week intensive training Monday.
“We’re working with them to revisit the underlying fundamentals of their business models,” Startup Tucson CEO Justin Williams said. “We are looking to working on the pieces and look at the reasons why they’ve struggled to have success”
The program aims to help established businesses look at their weaknesses and strengthen their existing business.

The 12 companies in the program include:
- 2Shoes, Inc – The educational technology company is developing a mobile solution that offers document management and continued education conference Q&A sessions.
- ABC Containers, LLC
- AquaPure Hydration
- CPR2U, LLC
- Darling Environmental & Surveying – The technology company specializes in 3D modeling, scanning and technical surveying.
- Fed By Threads LLC – The online brick and mortar clothing retailer feeds the hungry around the globe, and is looking to expand with a “clicks and mortar” strategy.
- G&H Industries, LLC
- iCropTrak – The agriculture tech company offers custom analytics platforms to farmers.
- Talon Radio Carriers, LLC
- The Arizona Bilingual Magazine, LLC
- The Underestimated City
- Yellow Brick Coffee
“Our goals are ultimately to have this sort of 5x or 10x or greater growth as they all tend to have as we go through our evaluations,” Williams said.
The Thryve Next program is funded through an award from the U.S. SBA ScaleUp America program.
Startup Tucson is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 that aims to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
