For our fourth entry of the AZ Tech Beat Startup Journal, we spoke to Stephen Campbell and Dan Roberts, the co-founders of Tip.ly, a payment application that allows you to pay anyone, anywhere, without the exchange of personal information. The two founders touched on customer acquisition as well as challenges faced for startups in their early phases.
The AZ Tech Beat Startup Journal features a variety of founders who are in different stages in their startup. Each episode is a two to three minute video that highlights the “Dos,” “Don’ts,” and “Been theres,” of running a startup, offering business advice and work experiences, from the startup world to the startup world.
The two founders also talked about making sure you have a problem to solve before entering the audience market and developing strategies towards focusing on a core customer base.
