Tech companies have come under fire for the lack of diversity and women in leadership positions. Fortunately, conferences like Girls in Tech are enabling and empowering leaders in tech to discuss and share important topics that will make an impact in the industry.
“Women are infiltrating the tech scene across the country in a big way. Diversity plays a huge role in laying the foundation for a very creative and innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem,” Gascoigne said.
Gascoigne said that the Girls in Tech organization will be putting together a Lady Pitch Night Competition in the near future.
