Prominent venture capitalists will be coming to Arizona February 17th for TiE AZ 13th Annual Venture Capital Funding Roundtable to network, meet local entrepreneurs and critique local startup’s pitches.
Aside from all the networking and panel discussions, local startups Force Impact Technologies, Endovantage and Primo IAS will present their product to a panel of visiting venture capitalists and receive critique on how to improve their position in the market. All three companies were the finalists in TiE AZ Fast Pitch event in October.

Force Impact Technologies developed FITGuard, a mouthguard that brings head injury awareness to athletes in real-time. When an athlete has a collision during a game the mouthguard will change colors letting them know how much force was behind the collision. They were also listed in as one of the 32 startups in the Venture Madness competition.
Endovantage created computer simulations of medical procedures for the patient before the surgery to assist surgeons in treating the patient more efficiently. In June, Endovantage took home $250,000 after the Arizona Commerce Authority Arizona Innovation Challenge. They were also listed in as one of the 32 startups in the Venture Madness competition.
Primo IAS created an idle alternative system reducing the amount of fuel mining equipment in order to help save fuel and engine life.
Following the startup presentations, a conversation on venture investing will be held, moderated by Michael Hool, managing partner of Hool Coury Law.
The event is on February 17th, from 5:30-8:45 p.m. at Tempe Center for the Arts. Admission is $30 for members, $45 for non-members, $15 for students with ID and free for Arizona TiE charter members. This is a sell out event so get your tickets early here.
