Founder and CEO Scott Salkin of Allbound, a cloud-based marketing and sales automation tool for companies with indirect sales channels and reseller network, is no stranger to startups and the AZ tech community.
While he built IDS Marketing, he’s also delved into the AZ Tech Council and launched Startup Connect AZ, an all day educational session focused on building the tech industry and promoting STEM, became President of the BMA and was a guest speaker at an AZTB Lunch and Learn, among other community efforts. Lately, his attention is directed at building his next startup Allbound, and has been hanging in the Bay Area completing his four-month tenure with Acceleprise, an accelerator for enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) startups.
Salkin describes Allbound as a SaaS platform that provides direct, real-time access to content, tools and data, such as, lead generation, list building and reporting, in one intuitive, mobile-friendlly interface with a single login.

Today, his company Allbound announced a $200,000 investment from an undisclosed investor as part of their initial funding round. The raise will be used to expand its vertical markets and create jobs in sales and marketing and software engineering in Arizona and San Francisco.
In addition to this good news, they were recently named a semifinalist in the Arizona Commerce Authority Innovation Challenge where startups can win up to $250,000 in grant money to build their company.

“Being accepted into Acceleprise and having now been named a semifinalist for the 2014 Innovation Challenge are both huge honors,” said Salkin. “It’s a great accomplishment for our team and lends even further validation that we’re headed in the right direction with our product-market fit and our growth strategy.”
