Texas-based OneSource Virtual announced Tuesday it plans to bring about 120 jobs to the Phoenix area by 2015.
The company, which offers cloud-based Business Process Outsourcing services, is expanding to Mesa with plans to open in late September.
“Our team evaluated a number of locations in close proximity to the Pacific time zone and selected Phoenix based on the projected strength and sustainability of the labor market over the next five years,” said Wesley Bryan, president, COO and co-founder of OneSource Virtual in a press release.
OneSource Virtual was founded in 2008 and offers services to streamline everyday business operations like payroll and employee benefits. It accomplishes this primarily through leveraging the Workday application, which provides companies with a wide range of data and tools to analyze each aspect of management

“For more than six years, OneSource Virtual has experienced tremendous growth, and the expansion into a second processing facility is a natural evolution for the company,” Bryan said in a press release. “We are transitioning to a geographic servicing model with customers in the Pacific and Mountain time zones being serviced from the Phoenix office, while focusing the Dallas operation on customers in the Central and Eastern time zones.”
A spokesperson from OneSource Virtual, told AZTB that the Phoenix area was chosen out of a shortlist of locations that included Seattle and Salt Lake City and that Mesa specifically was selected based on available office space and the proximity to the airport.
“All of the positions we will be filling at the Arizona office will be under the operations: payroll processors, tax processors, garnishments, benefit services and product support (post-deployment help and consideration),” the spokesperson said. “Range of pay will be based on experience.”
The spokesperson said working with Mesa officials to secure all the necessary paperwork was “simple and pain-free.”
OneSource Virtual was ranked 29th on Inc. magazine’s list of the Top 500 fastest growing companies in America in 2013, according to the company’s website.
