Pure Chat, a popular live support and sales software, announced to its users that the company will introduce a pricing plan beginning September 1, 2014. In a newsletter from the company, Founder Pure Chat Hamid Shojaee explained that the fees will help the company invest in improvements to the live chat software.

Shojaee assured users that Pure Chat will continue to be affordable, and will also offer a “Pure Simplicity” plan-a free of charge, but limited, service for casual live chat customers. The new “Pure Awesome!” pricing plan will be available at a low-cost of $5 per operator. All existing customers and those who sign up by June 30 will get six months of free service.
In 2013, Pure Chat went through a revamp and offered new features such as downloadable transcripts, new UX/UI, an autocomplete option, structural changes, OnTime help desk integration, audio notifications, operator availability updates and chat filters for reorganization.
Pure Chat is currently available on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Kindle Fire tablet, and later this summer available on the Amazon Fire phone.
Shojaee shared that more than 65,000 companies have used Pure Chat and usage is doubling every three months.
