Every March the National Collegiate Athletic Association brings together 68 teams to compete in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. 68 teams from 10 conferences around the nation go head-to-head starting Tuesday afternoon with the First Four play-in games; the real action though, Round 2, commences Thursday, March 20. Games will be televised across several channels including network station CBS, and cable stations TNT, TBS, and truTV.

NCAA March Madness Live is probably the best app in terms of all-around offerings. By using this app an individual can have viewing access in the palm of their hands of every single game. A subscription to a television cable company is needed to stream all live games on this app. The social aspect of this app will focus on the hashtag #MarchMadness, which can be used to show what social network people are sharing on.

Feedback from consumers to make the apps more user-friendly saw changes like manipulating and checking a bracket is much easier, the social aspect of competing against friends is enticing to most fanatics, and sharing content on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter make these apps very appealing.
