The last few months have been extremely successful for appsFreedom, an enterprise mobile cloud software company, with a number of pre-integrated and ready-to-use mobile applications for business management. Within in the last two month, appsFreedom received a $3 million Series A round led by Grayhawk Capital and was one of six winners of the Arizona Commerce Authority’s 2013 Arizona Innovation Challenge. The ACA challenge was narrowed down from 185 applicants to the top six, with appsFreedom being one of three software companies to win. The company will receive a piece of the $1.5 million prize.
appsFreedom is based on the concept of a mobile workspace—“users have secure, real-time access to enterprise systems from any smart phone or tablet device.” It uses a cloud-based system focused on delivering Software-as-a-Service solutions for businesses to be organized and free to control their business from anywhere. Their “Freedom Platform” is a mobile development and management platform that “simplifies company’s ability to design, build, deploy, manage, and analyze in-house developed apps.” Through three Freedom forms—on-device apps, an on-demand manager, and an on-premise plugin—users receive a fully functioned business management system launched within a month of purchase specialized for their business. appsFreedom is an SAP certified partner. SAP is the world market leader in business software applications and both companies pride themselves on simplicity and user-friendliness.
