Last June, ASU Venture Catalyst launched its first-ever Techiepalooza event with the goal of bringing the local entrepreneurial and tech community together to network and learn at ASU SkySong in Scottsdale. The turnout was nearly 3 times what they expected, with close to 600 people shuffling through the modestly-sized ASU SkySong venue throughout the evening (read AZTechBeat’s review here).
As one good turn deserves another, ASU Venture Catalyst recently announced that the second Techiepalooza will take place on Thursday, November 15 at (what is hopefully a larger area of) ASU SkySong. The keynote speakers for this event are:
- Aaron Matos – CEO / Founder of Jobing.com
- Patrick Koppula – Co-founder of Garageband.com
- Rahul Sood – General Manager of Bing Fund
There will also be breakout sessions on the second floor of SkySong on topics including mobile application development, SEO, 3D Printing, payment solutions and LEAN Canvas startup methodology.
In keeping with the local business vibe, the Techiepalooza folks have also partnered with LocalFirstAZ, so there will be plenty of local food trucks parked outside as well as local beer and wine options.
