Forum and Collaborative

On September 28, 2015 GAZeL, the Greater Arizona eLearning Association, in cooperation with other business, education and community organizations, will officially launch our Arizona Innovative Learning Collaborative with a Forum on Innovative Learning In Arizona 2015 and Beyond: Challenges, Opportunities, Technologies and Strategies.

Transforming Arizona Science and STEM Education through
Gamified Virtual Laboratory Simulations

Maaroof Fakhri, a Scientific Collaboration Specialist with Labster, the award-winning Danish Virtual Laboratory Simulation Education Group  is coming from Denmark to provide a presentation and demonstration on how Gamified Virtual Laboratory Simulations can dramatically enhance student learning in Science and STEM Education when used to compliment or even replace traditional teaching methods in schools, colleges and universities.  And he will share with us how Arizona can take advantage of Labster’s partnerships, grant co-financing and Virtual Laboratories for education.

Dr. Lisa Duty, Ph.D. a Partner with The Learning Accelerator, a non-profit organization whose mission is to transform K-12 education by accelerating the implementation of high-quality blended learning in school districts and states across the U.S.

Video conference with the Director of the US Department Of Education Office Of Education Technology to provide an overview of their initiatives such as Games for Learning, Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) grants, Future Ready Schools, Building Technology Infrastructure for Learning, and Education Innovation Clusters.

Forum and Collaborative – Innovative Ideas and New Technologies – Time For A Change!

Issues such as funding, politics, testing, and legislation tend to dominate the education agenda in Arizona, It’s time for a change! Let’s talk innovative learning, technology and collaboration.
