AZ Tech Beat Journalism Team
Tishin is an award-winning journalist and a frequent guest on local and national television and radio segments, tech blogs and expert panels. She has covered technology, eco, lifestyle and health for over 12 years. She has interviewed some of the most influential people in the world such as Deepak Chopra, Dr. Andrew Weil, Martha Stewart and Jamie Oliver as well as top tech CEOs and entrepreneurs such as Blake Irving (Go Daddy), Howard Lindzon (Social Leverage) and Jordan Kretchmer (Livefyre).
Previously, Tishin launched and served as chief editor of Green Living magazine, an eco-lifestyle online and print magazine which sold in November 2012. Before that, she was a freelance writer for national publications and educational journals. Tishin is a graduate of Arizona State University and serves as a mentor for ASU Entrepreneurship program, startups and venture capital firms around the southwest. She also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical & Sport Psychology graduating Cum Laude. If you don’t catch her out in the community, best guess she’s trying to find some way to get to the beach and surf. In the office, you’ll hear a healthy dose of music-everything from the 80s to J.T. In her spare time, which isn’t much, she volunteers with her therapy dog Lilly, a yellow lab, with Pets on Wheels Scottsdale. Follow Tishin at: @TishinD
