Five will enter, one will claim victory- meet your StartupConnect AZ Pitch Contest finalists
The StartupConnect AZ Pitch Contest is almost here and cold, hard cash is on the line.
The Arizona Technology Council announced the five finalists that will participate in the contest at the Dec. 17 StartupConnect AZ 2014 event. The winner of the pitch-athon will be selected by the audience and will receive a cash prize of the net revenue of the event’s ticket sales.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, your StartupConnect Pitch Contest finalists
Crowd Mics- Founded by two brothers, Crowd Mics provides an app that turns a smartphone into a wireless microphones. It also allows for participants to chime in with texts or live polling, meaning that the engagement level is always high.
EndoVantage– Born from a project at Arizona State University, Endovantage uses cloud technology to help test and design heart surgery treatments, before the patients go under the knife.
Sentinel Internet Systems, Inc.- This Phoenix-based company’s main product is Searchlight, which scans your website to guard against plagiarism. Searchlight helps track websites that might be stealing your content and guide you through the takedown process.
ShootersRev– Want to knock down jumpers like Step Curry? ShootersRev can help with their line of basketball training technology, specifically the Evo One. The Evo One attaches to your basketball and tracks its motions as you shoot, to help you improve your form and release.
Storybyte- This company turns your photos into what amounts to scrapbooks for the web, with its Story websites. It helps you organize and present your images in a beautiful, flowing layout that you just can’t find elsewhere.
