Arizona’s universities get down to business and rise in national rankings

Looking for a business school to help you get the know-how necessary to succeed? You can’t go wrong when both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona are ranked in the Top 30 of business programs nationwide, according to a report released by US News.
The UA’s Eller College of Management and ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business were ranked 21 and 29 respectively out of all undergraduate business programs in the country.
Both schools have some specific programs ranked in the top five nationally. For the Eller College, both their entrepreneurship and information management programs are ranked fifth, while ASU’s supply chain management program is ranked third.
Topping the list of overall best business programs was the University of Pennsylvania, which was followed closely by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In years past, UA and ASU’s business colleges have received similar rankings from other publications. In 2013, the Economist ranked the Carey School in the top 50 of business programs and the Princeton Review gave them a 95 percent career rating, as we reported in August.

UA announced this summer that it would be moving part of the Eller College’s graduate program to downtown Phoenix to join the UA College of Medicine.
