An energetic open layout boasts modern furnishings and technology-driven details built with accessibility and convenience in mind. Upholstered high-back booths lend themselves to privileged conversations, an expansive community table encourages interaction and brainstorming, and the high-tech conference suites facilitate more structured, private meetings.
Founder and Managing Partner, Brian Stowell, has spent more than two decades bringing thoughtful design, transformative projects and innovative solutions to communities across the American West. As managing partner of the boutique development firm Novawest, which is now headquartered in Phoenix, Stowell was encouraged by Novawest ownership to pursue and develop mod, an inspired resolution to the abundance of vacant property plaguing the commercial real estate industry and the rising number of displaced professionals using local coffee shops as their mobile office.
“Advancing mobile technology has fostered a distributed workforce that longs for convenient and creative spaces to work, meet and gather,” notes co-founder and managing partner Brian Stowell. “The alternatives, from coffee shops to various forms of the virtual office, each lacks something that nomadic professionals need. We think mod might be that full-service solution.”

Parking: Parking is available on the 2nd floor of the parking garage on Thomas Road and 1st Avenue. The first hour of parking is complimentary to modsters, with a charge of $1 for each additional 30 minutes ($8 maximum per day)

Member Amenities: Complimentary modcierge (concierge) services, secure wireless internet access, scanning and shredding. Printing and shipping services are available for an additional fee (please see attached member services menu). Full service café serving small plate breakfast, lunch and snacks, locally roasted coffee, wine and craft beers are also on-site.
