ASU + City of Goodyear open incubator The Innovation Hub

Goodyear, Arizona has recently opened the city’s first business incubator, The Innovation Hub, at the Goodyear Branch Public Library. The new program will give West Valley entrepreneurs easier access to converse and collaborate with other like-minded individuals.
The Hub provides library space, mentoring and other business resources as part of a recent $1.1 million library expansion at the Goodyear Municipal Complex, located at 14455 W. Van Buren St.
The new incubator is part of ASU’s Alexandria Co-working Network, which provides free entrepreneurial support during normal library hours at multiple Valley locations. With its proximity to Luke Air Force Base, The Innovation Hub’s primary focus is building up aerospace resources to push for the growth of an industry already prevalent in the city.
In addition to co-working space, entrepreneurs will have access to meeting rooms to rendezvous with potential clients and they will also have access to classes taught by business professionals form ASU’s Rapid startup School. Lecture topics include customer development, business modeling, and marketing strategies. Classes are held at ASU SkySong in South Scottsdale and at Alexandria Co-working Network spaces in public libraries across the Valley.
The Goodyear Innovation Hub also offers mentoring from the Goodyear Department of Economic Development and features a kiosk from the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office to print documents.
With the newest addition to Arizona’s long list of incubators, The Innovation Hub is now a suitable option for accelerating small businesses in the West Valley.
