Page.ly appoints new CTO Joshua Eichorn from StumbleUpon
“I am excited to be given the opportunity to help accelerate the momentum Page.ly has enjoyed. WordPress is such a ubiquitous piece of software and we have big plans for the future around delivering a painless experience for the millions of consumer and technical users,” said Eichorn.
Founder of Page.ly Joshua Strebel comments on the appointment, “They talk about the brain drain of great software talent leaving Arizona to pursue work in the Bay Area. We are excited to do our part to reverse the trend. Josh is an amazing talent and we are excited to have him back.”
Eichorn also comments on returning to the Valley, “It’s great to be back in Arizona. The Open Source spirit permeates the entrepreneurial community here; making it a great place to work and the perfect fit for a company focused on WordPress.”
Josh plans to assist with the expansion of additional data centers, channel partner integration, technical recruiting, and overseeing all aspects of development.
Earlier this summer, AZTB also reported about Page.ly’s acquisition of BlogDroid. Read more about it here.
Pagely continues to grow with the launching of new data centers and has recently added Twitter (via MoPub acquisition), SendGrid, and Last.fm as clients.
Also a happy anniversary to Page.ly as they turn four! This month Pagely is running a special offer of first month completely free. Learn more here.
