In response to the growing startup tech community, Arizona-based incubators and accelerator programs have been popping up and entrenching themselves into the tech community to attract founders, far and near, to join their program, offering them opportunities from funding competitions, state-of-the-art technology, access to top mentors in their respective industry to co-working space, and much more.

Here are some programs that are still accepting applications:

Arizona State University, Entrepreneur and Innovation was recently recognized in the University Business Incubator Index (UBI) for 2013 as one of the top university business incubators in the world, opens it’s application at AREA 48, a new pilot model for educating and supporting early-stage entrepreneurs by utilizing a hands-on, “pracademic approach” to create new markets, products, start-ups and jobs. Click here for AREA 48.

Northern Arizona University, Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, has LaunchBox, designed for young businesses to help them through the learning stages. Businesses have the opportunity to win up to a $5,000 grant and access to local-to-global resources, co-working space and more. Click here for Launchbox.

Desarrollo, not your typical incubator, officially opened their Phoenix Flight Program. The Program provides education, mentorship and a collaborative workspace and resources to selected applicants and co-working space inside of Infusionsoft. Recently desarrollo announced their partnership with nine new strategic partners as well as Pitchburner, a company known their competition management software solutions. Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation, located on the campus of GateWay Community College, is an incubator focused on bioscience, renewable energy and technology startups. Client companies take advantage of the center’s state-of-the-art facility and proactive business guidance as well as its rich, collaborative community of entrepreneurs, mentors and strategic partners for the purpose of commercializing their business and creating jobs for the region. Applications can be submitted at any time with companies selected on a monthly basis based on specific criteria. Click here for CEI.
