Hard Dollar CEO Doug Nicholas will be leaving the company and returning to Greentree Partners. Nicholas has been with Hard Dollar since 2004 and has become one of the fastest growing software companies in the nation. A leader in the project cost management software business, Hard Dollar focuses on infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, and power and process industries.  In 2013 the company launched Version 12.1 of their PCM as well as a series of e-Learning classes to help customers learn to utilize their product efficiently.
Brad Nickels, current Vice President of Professional Services and Customer Success, will become Hard Dollar’s General Manager in Nicholas’ absence.
“I hired Brad in 2011 with the intention of him becoming my successor, so I would be able to focus on other projects,” Nicholas said.
Greentree Partners is a hands-on, full-service investment bank with a full range of business and financial advisory services for companies of all sizes. “I’m ready to switch my energy to starting something else, doing more angel investing, and mentoring other entrepreneurs and startups. I’m really excited about the change,” Nicholas added.
Brad Nickels is excited for the opportunity as well. “I’m honored to be taking the reins from Doug, and I look forward to working with the Hard Dollar team to continue the upward trajectory he’s driven,” he said. “It’s an exhilarating time to be a part of Hard Dollar, as we continue to transform the project cost management industry.”
